Terms of service
The agreement for using becos and becos.ai. Last updated 7 October 2026.
1. Who these terms are with
These terms are between you and Becos AI (“becos”, “we”). If you use becos for a company, you accept them for that company and confirm you may do so. If your company has signed a separate agreement or order form with us, that agreement takes precedence where the two differ.
2. The service
becos is shared memory for coding agents: plugins capture parts of your team's agent sessions, and becos turns them into a cited record your agents and teammates can query. becos is in private beta. Features may change, and the service may be unavailable at times.
3. Accounts
- Accounts are created by a team admin or by us. Keep your sign-in methods secure and tell us at privacy@becos.ai if you think your account has been misused.
- Team admins can add and remove members and change their roles.
- You are responsible for activity under your account.
4. Your content
- You and your company keep all rights to the content captured from your sessions and what becos derives from it (“your content”).
- You give us permission to host, process and display your content only to provide and secure the service for your team, including sending it to the service providers listed in our privacy policy.
- You confirm you have the right to capture what your plugins send. Configure capture so that secrets, credentials and data you are not allowed to share are not sent.
- We do not use your content to train AI models.
5. Acceptable use
Do not use becos to break the law or anyone's rights; to try to access another team's data; to probe, overload or disrupt the service; to reverse engineer it except where the law allows; or to resell it without our written agreement.
6. AI output
Answers are built from your team's record by language models and can be incomplete or wrong. Each answer cites its sources so it can be checked; check what matters before relying on it. You are responsible for the code and decisions you make with it.
7. Fees
Paid use is governed by the pilot or order agreement we sign with your company. If you have no such agreement, use during the private beta is free and may be limited.
8. Third-party tools
becos works with coding agents and services made by others, such as Claude Code, Codex, opencode, Cursor and Google sign-in. Their terms govern your use of them, and we are not responsible for them.
9. Suspension and ending
- You can stop using becos at any time; a team admin can ask us to close the team's account.
- We may suspend access that breaks these terms or threatens the service or other customers, and will tell you where we reasonably can.
- When a team's account closes, we delete its content as described in the privacy policy. Ask us beforehand if you want an export.
10. Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, especially during the beta. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, neither side is liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability under these terms is limited to the greater of the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and USD 100. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will change the date above and, for material changes, tell account holders by email before they take effect. Continuing to use becos after that means you accept the new terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the place where Becos AI is registered, and disputes go to the courts there.
